ATTENTION !!!

As cases of Equine Infectious Anaemia (EIA) have recently occurred in Hungary, The National Stud Farm Topoľčianky requires following:

All competing horses, horses for reproduction, etc. must be serologically tested (Coggins Test) for Equine Infectious Anaemia (EIA). This test must have been carried out within the last 30 days. The certificate showing a negative test must be presented to the veterinarian examining the horse on arrival. Horse that have no such certificate or have a positive test will not be allowed to enter the premises of the National Stud Farm Topoľčianky. This is valid from 15^th June 2015 until further notice.

LIF Judges Clinic

LIF rozhodcovský seminar / LIF Judges Clinic

During 22nd -24th June 2015, there is a LIF Judge Clinic taking place at the premises of the National Stud Farm Topoľčianky. 35 representatives of 12 countries from all over the world have joined this interesting event. The first day of the clinic was divided into two main parts. As the first, there was a theoretical part led by Thomas Druml (AUT). In the afternoon, there was a practical evaluation of 27 stallions from 3 up to 21 years of age. The stallions were on different level of education focused on different equestrian disciplines, mainly driving and dressage. The group of senior judges was led by Janez Rus from Lipica (SLO) and the group of junior judges led Thomas Druml (AUT) led the group of junior judges. Tomorrow, they will continue by evaluation of mares.

TOPOĽČIANSKY CHOV SHAGYA-ARABOV SA PRESADIL V SVETOVEJ ŠPIČKE VYTRVALOSTNÝCH KONÍ V ABU DHABI

During the last days, The National Stud Farm Topolcianky was delighted by extraordinary news connected with written congratulations from the head of the press department SHAGYAWORLD.COM. Dahoman XI-57, a gelding from Topolcianky, gained an excellent placing in endurance race at Abu Dhabi Al Wathaba. The horse ended at the wonderful second place out of 211 competing horses in endunce race CEI** 120km.

Dahoman XI-57 was born on 22nd April 2007 at the breeding farm called „Rybník“.The world endurance champion , Miguel Vila Ubach choose him as a 4-year-old-gelding. The horse was sold in 2011 and after his training in Spain, he was sold to the United Arab Emirates.

During the 4^th and 5^th July 2014, the oldest and the largest German State Stud Farm in Marbach celebrated its significant jubilee – 500^th anniversary of its establishment. Thirteen state studs from eight European countries took part at the stunning celebrations. The National Stud Farm Topoľčianky was there…

The audience could watch cross-section of history not only of the state stud Marbach but also the history of horse breeding in whole Europe. All was happening accompanied by live music of Württemberg Orchestra.

One of the most significant equestrian fairs in Europe called „PFERD Wels“ takes place every year in a beautiful Austrian town – Wels. Almost 44 000 visitors came to the area of Wels exhibition. There were horse lovers, hobby riders, breeders as well as professional riders and trainers of various equestrian disciplines.

More than 230 exhibitors from 10 European countries were a part of this unique fair. They were offering equestrian goods of all sorts. The visitors could see over 200 presentations in daily programme focused on introduction of horse breeds and breeding institutions or individual riding disciplines. There were more than 500 horses of various breeds form the world stabled.

Josef Hrouda – trainer of the Slovak National Driving Representation of the National Stud Farm Topolcianky

Josef Hrouda – tréner reprezentačného tímu Národného žrebčína Topoľčianky

Josef Hrouda, horse trainer and equestrian driver, starts his driving and training path in year 2000, and in his race history are races on World Championship in Keczkemet (2004), on World Championship in Warka (2007) and he takes first place on Championship of Czech republic in 2007, in 2008 he became trainer of Slovak national equestrian driving representation. Throughout career, Josef Hrouda works only with Lipizzanhorses.

In the future, he wants to use all of experiences and knowhow to promote Lipizzanhorses farmed in National Stud Farm Topolcianky and Slovakia at all.

The great riding-show took place in the capital city of Hungary from 5th December to 7th December 2008 at the Papp Laszlo Budapest Sportarene. All tickets were sold out and the stands were full of eudience watching not only the programme itself but also the World Cup competitions in show-jumping and driving sport.
