The great riding-show took place in the capital city of Hungary from 5th December to 7th December 2008 at the Papp Laszlo Budapest Sportarene. All tickets were sold out and the stands were full of eudience watching not only the programme itself but also the World Cup competitions in show-jumping and driving sport.
The main part of the programme was the presentation of the stud farms breeding Lippizaners. These stud farms presented their Spanish riding school and then their driving teams. Riders from Topoľčianky, Lipica, Piber and Szilvásvárad met under one roof. They all showed their best ... Shortly afterwards the representative driving teams together with two riders from each stud farm trotted in.
There was more to see, for example Pignon show with the most obedient horses there. The visitors could also see quadrilla, pony races, Hungarian National Circus, film stunt men show, ride and drive, western riders or pas de deux competition, which our riders took also part in.
Three Lippizaners from Topoľčianky competed in Driving World Cup. Zoltán Lázár harnessed one of them and the other were harnessed by Joszef Dobrovitz who has already won two World Cup competitions in this season, in Stockholm and Stuttgard. And the winner was Boyd Exell from Australia.
