After a two-year break caused by restrictions in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic, the premises of the Topoľčianky National Stud racetrack, once again held endurance races. In addition to national competitions at 40, 60 and 80 km, there were also international races CEI1* 100 km, CEI J,YR 1*100 km and CEI2*140 (2x70) km, which were also championship competitions for seniors and juniors/young riders .
More than 40 riding pairs appeared on the starting lists, not only from Slovakia, but also from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Poland and Lithuania. The main judge was Vladimír Pažitný, who also held the position of technical delegate. The other members of the jury were Lucia Starovecká, Mária Merková and Dušan Majerčík. Malgozata Kram from Poland accepted the invitation to the role of chief steward. MVDr. Petr Jahn from the Czech Republic became the chairman of the veterinary commission. The foreign delegate nominated by the FEI was MVDr. Zuzana Žežulková also from the Czech Republic. PhDr. Zuzana Bačiak Masaryková, PhD. – general secretary of the SJF, accepted the invitation to the final medal ceremony.
The extremely hot weather tested the readiness of all participating competitors. Slovak Championship
The senior category was run at the CEI2* 140km (2x70) level. The Supek sisters from JK Napoli Bratislava shared the gold and silver medals. The title of Slovak Champion in endurance was won by Michaela Supeková with the horse RO Vedette. Her sister Lucia, riding F C Husein, finished just behind her with a minimal difference. The bronze was won by Miriam Kmeťová and O´Bajan Kabala from JK Monty Ranch Nitrianske Pravno.
In the category of juniors/young riders, the title of Slovak Champion was won by Tamara Bieliková with the horse Mersuch III-9 from JK Monty Ranch Nitrianske Pravno. The silver medal went to JŠ Topoľčianky thanks to Monika Ivančíková and her horse Pesto. The third place – bronze medal – was taken by Tamara Štefanová in the saddle of the horse Koheilan VIII-34 SK from JK Sapia Nový Tekov.
